Investment Strategy
The TD Emerald Canadian Short Term Investment Fund invests in a selection of high quality Canadian money market instruments, including commercial paper, bankers’ acceptances and treasury bills. The Fund has a minimum R-1 credit quality requirement for the purchase of individual securities. Credit quality is monitored continuously.
Investment Objective
The investment objective of the Fund is to provide long-term performance that exceeds that of Government of Canada 91-day Treasury Bills.
Who Should Invest
This Fund is designed for taxable and tax-exempt individuals and organizations, including pension, Group RRSPs, DPSPs, non-profit and corporations that are interested in Canadian short-term investment exposure.
