Investment Strategy
The TD Emerald Canadian Equity Market Pooled Fund Trust II is a unitized pooled fund trust, issued via Offering Memorandum. It invests in all stocks listed on the S&P/TSX Composite Index, in substantially the same weight as that of the S&P/TSX Composite Index with the exception of pension funds. To ensure eligibility for pension funds, we maintain a book value of under 10% for all holdings within the Fund. If a larger holding is required to implement the strategy, individual names may be held on a segregated basis outside the Fund.
Investment Objective
The investment objective of the strategy is to closely track the performance of the S&P/TSX Composite Index. This strategy comprises the Emerald Canadian Equity 300 Pooled Fund Trust II as well as direct holdings of certain TSE securities.
Who Should Invest
This overall investment strategy is designed for taxable and tax-exempt individuals and organizations, including pension funds, non-profit entities and corporations that are interested in broadly-based indexed Canadian equity exposure.
