The Fund intends to achieve its objective by investing primarily in Canadian bonds and debentures and units in investment funds that provide exposure to fixed income securities including investment funds managed by TDAM which meet the investment objectives of the Fund. The fund requires individual securities to have a minimum BBB credit rating at time of purchase. Initially the Fund will invest 50% of its assets in units of the Lancaster Fixed Income Fund II which is managed by TDAM and will normally maintain the allocation to the Lancaster Fixed Income Fund II within a range of 48% and 52% of Fund assets.

The investment objective of the Fund is to earn interest income over the long-term.

This Fund is designed for taxable and tax-exempt individuals and organizations, including pension funds, non-profit entities and corporations that are seeking added value relative to the bond market in a diversified, moderate-risk portfolio. Units of the Funds are not intended to be qualified investments for and should not be acquired by registered retirement savings plans, registered retirement income funds, deferred profit sharing plans and registered education savings plans.
