Investment Strategy
The TD Emerald Long Bond Broad Market Pooled Fund Trust (the Fund) is invested in a broadly based sample of long-term bonds selected and weighted to approximate the overall risk and return characteristics of DEX Long Term Bond Index (the Index). The Index consists primarily of federal, provincial, municipal and corporate bonds.
Investment Objective
The investment objective of the Fund is to provide performance similar to the performance of the DEX Long Term Bond Index*
Who Should Invest
This Fund is designed for taxable and tax-exempt individuals and organizations, including pension funds, non-profit entities and corporations, that want exposure to a broad-based index of Canadian long-term bonds. This Fund is not eligible for RSPs, Group RRSPs, DPSPs or other registered plans.
