The TD Emerald Canadian Treasury Management - Government of Canada Fund (the Fund) is a high-quality, actively managed money market fund for both taxable and non-taxable assets. The Fund is part of a Cash Investment Service offered by TD Asset Management and The Toronto-Dominion Bank.
The portfolio managers focus on the Government of Canada debt market, as well as global macroeconomic trends.
The investment objective is to earn a high rate of interest income and at the same time preserve capital and maintain liquidity. The portfolio is invested primarily in Canadian dollar denominated debt instruments issued or guaranteed by the Government of Canada.
As part of a Cash Investment Service, the Fund is suitable for both taxable and non-taxable investors. We believe it represents an attractive investment solution for cash balances held by corporate, individual, municipal, pension, trust, endowment and union funds. It is intended for accounts whose investments will average a minimum of $1 million.
This Fund is not eligible for Group RRSPs, DPSPs or other registered plans.
