The TD Emerald Multi-Strategy Canadian Bond Fund (the Fund) is designed for investors seeking enhanced returns relative to the performance of DEX Universe Bond Index (The Index). The Fund intends to achieve its objectives by investing primarily in market neutral absolute return funds (managed by TD Asset Management Inc.) and at the same time obtaining an exposure to The Index. The absolute return funds are equity market neutral funds that seek to provide consistent positive returns with low correlations to the performance of major security markets while seeking to minimize the overall market risk of the portfolio. The Fund is expected to benefit from the combination of 3 uncorrelated sources of return utilizing two different investment approaches (fundamental and quantitative), each with a successful track record. The Fund targets an equal weighted allocation to the TD Emerald Canadian Equity Market Neutral Fund, the TD Emerald U.S. Equity Market Neutral Fund and the TD Emerald North American Equity Pairs Fund and rebalances subject to tight re-balancing guidelines on a monthly basis. U.S. dollar investments are hedged back into Canadian dollars.

The investment objective of the Fund is to enhance the performance of the portfolio in relation to the DEX Universe Bond Index (The Index) over the long term through economic exposure to the performance of TD Emerald Multi-Strategy Absolute Return Fund or t its underlying market neutral absolute return funds and the performance of the Index. The Funds will use leverage and derivatives in pursuing its Investment Objective.

The TD Emerald Multi-Strategy Canadian Bond Fund is open to both taxable and non-taxable institutional clients, individual investors and high net worth clients, who are seeking enhanced returns relative to the performance of DEX Universe Bond Index.
