TD Asset Management employs a disciplined approach to fixed income management, seeking to maximize current yield and reduce risk. This is an active fundamental approach with a focus on the extensive use of independently researched credit, and yield curve analysis in order to enhance returns beyond a defined benchmark. The Fund will invest in invest in Canadian government and investment grade corporate fixed-income securities, and will seek to further enhance yield through exposure to a diverse mix of North American and global high-yield debt.
Our investment approach is designed to consistently add incremental value regardless of the direction of interest rates.

The investment objective of the Fund is to earn a high rate of interest income by investing primarily in Canadian dollar-denominated, investment-grade debt instruments, and to seek added value from non-Canadian and/or non-investment-grade debt instruments to enhance total return.

The TD Emerald Canadian Core Plus Bond Pooled Fund Trust is designed for investors, including pension funds and non-profit organizations that are interested in receiving added value relative to the Canadian bond market through active fundamental fixed income management.
This Fund is not eligible for RSPs, Group RRSPs, DPSPs or other registered plans.
