The TD Lancaster Balanced Fund II invests in money market instruments and securities included in the DEX Universe Bond Index, the S&P/TSX Composite Index and MSCI World ex-Canada Total Return Index. The Fund invests primarily in units of our other Pooled Funds managed by TD Asset Management Inc., including the, TD Emerald Canadian Treasury Management Fund, the TD Lancaster Fixed Income Fund II, the TD Lancaster Canadian Equity Fund and the TD Emerald Global Equity Pooled Fund Trust.

The asset mix decision employed in the Fund is based on fundamental analysis of economic and financial data, and long-term trends in the financial markets.

The fundamental investment objectives of the Fund are to maximize investment return through investment in a diversified portfolio of securities with a view to seeking the most productive balance from time to time between long-term growth and current income. To this end, the Fund's investments are primarily in Canadian equity and debt securities which are anticipated to provide the opportunity for growth of capital consistent with reasonable security and income. Investment may be made in foreign equity and debt securities if economic, monetary or investment conditions indicate that the Fund's objectives are more likely to be met through such investment. Moreover, the Fund's investments may from time to time be primarily comprised of securities of unit trusts or mutual fund trusts managed by the Manager, provided that such investment is consistent with the Fund's objectives.
