The Fund intends to achieve its objective by investing primarily in securities found in the S&P/TSX Capped Composite Index, while also using short selling strategies with respect to such securities to increase the overall return of the Fund. The Fund seeks broad diversification, and may also invest in and short sell U.S. equity securities and other Canadian equity securities not included in the benchmark. The manager employs a bottom-up stock selection strategy based on fundamental research.

The investment objective of the Fund is, to outperform the S&P/TSX Capped Composite Total Return Index over the long term.

This Fund is designed for taxable and tax-exempt individuals and organizations, including pension funds, non-profit entities and corporations that are interested in seeking to outperform the S&P/TSX Capped Composite Total Return Index over the long term.
