Anish Chopra joined TD Asset Management Inc. in 1998. He has overall supervisory responsibility for TDAM's Canadian Value, Core Canadian Equity and Target Return teams. Anish also has lead management responsibilities on the TD Canadian Value Fund for TD Mutual Funds and the Target Return strategies for both TD Mutual Funds and TD Waterhouse Private Investment Counsel . In addition, Anish is a member of the team managing the TD Pension Plan and is also a member of the TD Wealth Asset Allocation Committee. Anish is a past recipient of the Alumni Achievement Award from the University of Waterloo’s School of Accounting and Finance. Anish has over 11 years experience managing proprietary funds within TDAM, with knowledge in Canadian, U.S. and global equities as well as numerous absolute return strategies. Prior to joining TDAM, Anish worked as a member of TD Securities’ mergers and acquisitions group. Anish holds a Masters of Accounting (Gold Medalist) from the University of Waterloo, and is a Chartered Accountant as well as a CFA charterholder. He also holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation and is a Chartered Business Valuator (Canadian Gold Medalist).
