Quarterly Update
The Fund posted positive
returns for the third quarter
of 2012 but lagged its
benchmark, the MSCI All
Country World Index. Overall,
group weightings and stock
selection helped relative
returns. Among sectors,
consumer discretionary names
were the greatest detractors.
Stock selection and
unfavorable positioning in the
financials and industrials as
well as business services
arenas dragged down relative
results. Information
technology holdings
contributed the most to
relative returns. Regionally,
adverse stock picks in the
Chinese, Russian, and French
markets were detrimental to
relative returns. Positioning
in the Japanese market and
stock picks in the U.S. market
were beneficial
